How can stories be used to deepen student engagement, develop critical thinking, and strengthen literacy skills? This workshop will explore a variety of ways to use art in the process of developing students’ ability to create, share, and listen to stories. Teachers will learn strategies for using works of art and art-making in the classroom to build wonder, curiosity, empathy and communication skills.

K-12 teachers of all subject areas welcome! Earns 0.5 CEU.*

*An additional 0.5 CEU may be earned through an extension activity after the workshop, in order to add up to a full 1.0 CEU.
